It's hard to escape the fact that the condition of our oceans is a critical one. Plastic discarded by individuals, manufacturing and ignorance has formed huge floating islands and due to sea-life consuming this plastic waste it has found its way into the food chain.
It is not too late, with everybody working together the plastic islands will not get bigger and with time and effort will eventually start to diminish but don't wait for someone else to do it, be mindful of plastic, replace it whenever possible and dispose of your own waste carefully.
Unfortunately the images you see here are not a life work. I have not spent months hunting for subject matter. What you see here are photographs I took while visiting beaches for other photography projects, unfortunately every beach I go to has some level of human rubbish deposited or washed up on it. Sadly the time spent capturing the images seen here amounts to possibly no more than an hours work.
